Teacher &

Administrator Grants

Teacher and Administrator Grants empower SBCSC educators and leaders to bring innovative, standards-aligned ideas to life for students. These grants provide funding for classroom projects, schoolwide initiatives, and professional learning that directly enhance teaching and student achievement. Whether supporting creative instructional experiences, building-level improvements, or professional development, our grant programs are designed to strengthen learning across the district.

The 2025-2026 Grant Cycle will open in Spring 2026.

Teacher Grants

Teacher Grants support innovative classroom and school-wide projects that directly enhance student learning in alignment with Indiana K–12 Academic Standards. Certified SBCSC educators may apply for $500–$1,500 to bring their ideas to life, with a commitment to tracking and sharing project impact. Please note: Teacher Grants may not be used for travel, professional development, stipends, or compensation.

    Principal Grants

Principal Grants support SBCSC building administrators in launching projects that enhance student learning and align with Indiana K–12 Academic Standards. Administrators may apply for up to $1,000 per school year and must plan to measure and share the project’s impact. Please note: Only five $1,000 grants are available each year, grants cannot be combined, and funds may not be used for professional development, staff compensation, or field trips.

    Professional Development Grants

Professional Development Grants support SBCSC educators seeking training, events, or learning experiences that strengthen their practice and positively impact students or colleagues. Educators may apply for up to $2,500 to cover conference registration, professional association memberships and publications, travel, per diem, lodging, and materials connected to their professional learning.
